Hi everyone, my name is Bishop Walton and I'm proud to be running to be your Student Association president. #THETIMEISNOW for us to rebrand what it means to be a student leader on this campus. #THETIMEISNOW for a leader who consistently engages with the student body. #THETIMEISNOW for GW students to seek transformation that creates lasting institutional change.

It is crucial that we elect a president who will strive to unify members of the student body and bridge the gap between the Student Association’s "elite" and student organizations on this campus. My experiences as the senate secretary in the SA, a resident advisor, the Co-Chair of the Black Heritage Celebration, and a student employee have allowed me to cultivate what many would define as the true GW student experience. Having this privilege of leading on this campus, I will work persistently with the administration to ensure that our voices are heard. My goals are attainable and achievable— they can be implemented in one academic year. The vision I have for GW is derived from principles in justice and equity to ensure that GW is home for every single student.
